How To Be More Persuasive In Sales

They shut down, or suddenly remember something very important they need to go do somewhere else, or worse, they go into fight or flight where they will try to get rid of you as quickly as possible. 

The moment someone feels like they are being told what to do, pressured, manipulated, or pushed into a decision, they go into protection mode.

Which means the very moment most people start “selling,” they accidentally make themselves less persuasive.

We are the most persuasive when we create space for people to persuade themselves.

So how do you get your prospects to persuade themselves?

You guide someone through a series of open ended questions that help them clarify what they actually want.

Instead of pushing someone toward a decision, you are helping them discover their next steps. 

Now imagine how much easier selling would feel if you could do that consistently.

Imagine your prospects doing most of the talking… clarifying their own problems… and asking you what the next step is.

How much easier would sales feel?

How much more valuable would your business become if you had that skill?

Probably a substantial amount.
